The brief

Express Lawyer is a legal services brand from the same business group as Marketing MIX, so this case describes work done inside the group. The team described itself as a union of more than 16 professionals in law, accounting and marketing. Its office was on Mykhailivska Street in Kyiv, and the site listed offices in Kyiv, Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk.

The practice centred on paperwork for businesses:

  • Registration of LLCs, sole proprietors, private enterprises, NGOs and charitable foundations.
  • Changes of director, activity codes, legal address, founders or company name.
  • Liquidation, including express liquidation.
  • Additional services: tax numbers for foreigners, apostilles and cash register registration.
  • Documents: extracts and certificates from state registers.

Business owners who need a registration change or a liquidation usually search for that specific procedure and compare price and turnaround, so each service needs its own clear page.

The task was to create and promote the site. The emphasis was on making every service easy for a client to reach, with a minimalist design that keeps attention on the content.

The group's legal brands shared people at the time. Alexey Sonko, the senior corporate-law lawyer who signs the testimonial below, also fronts the "Ask us a question" form in the Crystal Tax mockups and on the crystaltax.pro template.

What we did

Design

The mockups use a blue and red palette around a bow-tie logo. The header carries the office address, phone numbers and email, and the main menu follows the practice itself: Registration, Changes, Liquidation, Additional services, Documents. Separate layouts cover service pages, a registration page with prices, an About page with the team, a news list and a contacts page with a map and an inquiry form. News items in the mockups are dated 14 May 2015.

Project team

A designer, a PHP developer and an SEO specialist worked on the project.

SEO

We gathered a semantic core and optimised headings and meta tags for it, rewrote the texts around that core, added links to related services so visitors can move through the site easily, and added a block of promotional offers.

Launch

The Wayback Machine first captured expressjurist.com in December 2015. The October 2016 capture, titled "Leading lawyers of Kyiv", shows the same address, phone numbers, email and service menu as the mockups, with offices in Kyiv, Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk. That capture carries no Marketing MIX credit.

Where it stands today

Checked on 14 September 2026:

  • https://expressjurist.com returns a Cloudflare 526 error, which means the origin server's SSL certificate is invalid.
  • Plain HTTP shows a hosting-panel placeholder, "Sorry, the website has been stopped", last modified on 14 November 2024.
  • The last Web Archive capture of the domain dates from July 2025.
  • The group still holds the domain. Its legal services are presented on other sites, including legal.ua and the group brands linked below.

What we would add now

Put the domain back to work

A brand domain that answers with a certificate error and a hosting placeholder hurts trust in the name wherever it still appears in search results. A 301 redirect to the group's live legal site, or a restored page, would fix that. See SEO services in Ottawa: technical and local SEO.

Ukrainian first

The 2015–2016 site was in Russian only. For Ukrainian legal services today, Ukrainian as the default language with an English version is the norm, backed by hreflang tags.

Price and turnaround up front

The 2016 site had a static price page. For registration and liquidation services, the 2026 baseline is a price calculator, online document intake, and LegalService, Service and FAQ structured data that AI assistants can quote when someone asks how to change a director or close a company.
