The brief
Globalstaff is a recruitment agency in Kyiv. By its own description it selects top managers, middle managers and line staff, runs mass hiring, executive search and headhunting, and offers HR outsourcing and outstaffing, HR design (organisational structure, HR audits, KPI and motivation systems), staff assessment and training, IT recruiting and placement abroad.
Globalstaff and Marketing MIX belong to the same group of companies, Innova Consulting Group. This case is work done inside our own group, and the site says so too: its footer calls Globalstaff part of the Innova Consulting Group family.
A recruitment site serves employers, who want proof that the agency knows their sector and fills roles quickly, and candidates, who want vacancies and an easy way to get in touch. Both mostly arrive from search with a role, a city or a country in the query, so the work started from the semantic core.
What we did
Website and mobile version
We developed the site in full together with its adaptive version. The 2019 design mockups show the homepage with a team block, testimonials and a contact form, a recruitment service page with a sidebar of services (staff selection, HR design, other staffing services, training, employment abroad), a question-and-answer accordion and an order form, and a contacts page with a map of the Kyiv office on Velyka Vasylkivska Street.
Semantic core and service structure
We built the semantic core and laid out the structure of the service pages according to it.
SEO content and landing pages
SEO-optimised copy, landing pages, optimised metadata and page headings, and internal linking across the project. A blog section was added for the company's own content marketing; on the site it appears in the menu as News.
Off-page work and contextual advertising
The original case page also listed off-page optimisation and contextual advertising as running at the time it was published.
Launch
The domain was registered in October 2016 and showed only a placeholder page in January 2018. By January 2019 the web archive shows the mockup design live: the "Recruitment agency" headline, a short menu (Home, About, Staff selection, News, Contacts), a block of client quotes, a contact form and the Kyiv address.
Where it stands today
Yearly web-archive copies show how the site grew after launch:
- January 2022: the headline had changed to "Агентство по подбору персонала" (staff recruitment agency). The menu had grown to dozens of service pages: top, middle and line staff, a subscription service, HR audit, KPI and motivation systems, security vetting, outplacement, corporate events, outstaffing, training programmes and IT recruiting, including recruiting in Sweden and pages for individual IT and digital-marketing roles. The footer carried the Innova Consulting Group line.
- March 2024: the site ran on MODX, declared Ukrainian, Russian, English, German and Dutch alternates, and showed a banner saying the team was working and kept its main contact through messengers because of connectivity disruptions.
- January 2026: a cookie-consent notice was added.
On 14 September 2026 globalstaff.biz is live on MODX Revolution behind Cloudflare. The logo, phone number, opening paragraph and menu structure from 2019 are still in use. The homepage lists mass hiring, regional search, recruiting, executive search, HR outsourcing, a subscription service, headhunting, testing and assessment, and research and analytics, and says the agency searches in Kyiv, across Ukraine, in CIS countries and abroad. The menu now also covers recruiters for crypto and blockchain projects, IT staff assessment, employment abroad (Poland, Israel, Canada, Czechia, the USA, Germany, Slovakia, Lithuania, Norway and the UAE) and role pages from Java and Python to iOS and Data Science. The messenger banner from 2024 is still at the top of the page, and the meta description presents the agency as ten years on the labour market. The site has no studio credit link; its markup still uses the mmix-prefixed header classes.
The five-language setup exists only in the markup. On 14 September 2026 every /ua/, /en/, /de/ and /nl/ address, inner pages included, redirects to the Russian page, so in practice the site runs in Russian alone.
Outside its own site, the agency's About page lists a D-U-N-S number (52-097-9684). The DOU IT jobs portal lists Global Staff with offices in Kyiv and Lviv and a team size of 21–80 specialists; its reviews section there is empty. The top20.ua business directory shows a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 19 reviews posted between February 2021 and January 2022.
What we would add now
Recommendations based on a code-level check of the live site on 14 September 2026.
A working Ukrainian version, then English
The hreflang tags point search engines to four language versions that all redirect to Russian, which leaves broken alternates and no Ukrainian page for the home market. A Ukrainian main version, plus English for the placement-abroad and IT-recruiting pages, would match the audience the agency actually serves. See SEO services in Ottawa: technical and local SEO and Corporate website development.
Structured data for services and vacancies
The homepage and About page carry no JSON-LD. EmploymentAgency and Organization markup, JobPosting for open roles and FAQPage for the question blocks would let Google for Jobs and AI assistants read the services and openings directly. See AI SEO & GEO agency: ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews.
Fewer, deeper hub pages
A menu with dozens of items, from crypto recruiting to a page per country, spreads relevance thin and is hard to use on a phone. Hubs by service, sector and destination country, each with a few strong pages, rank and navigate more easily. See SEO services in Ottawa: technical and local SEO.
Lead capture beyond call-back forms
The connectivity banner has been up since at least March 2024, and lead capture still relies on call-back forms. Messenger buttons, a CV upload and a short vacancy-request flow for employers, each feeding a CRM, would match how people actually contact the agency. See Landing page development that converts.
Faster first response
The server took about 1.2 seconds to start answering, and Cloudflare served the page uncached. Page caching for anonymous visitors would cut that wait on every visit. See Corporate website development.
