The brief
Unistaff.ai is our own product, developed inside our group, so it appears here as an in-house product. It is an AI employee platform for small businesses. A company picks a role (sales, support, HR, accounting or operations), briefs the AI employee once and connects its tools. Each role comes with scripts, KPIs, memory and a manager dashboard, and passes a question to a person when a human decision is needed. The platform is built for companies of 3 to 100 people without an IT department.
The site's About page says the product grew out of the marketing operating system the group built to run its own work, and that the two still share a codebase. The footer names Innova Consulting Group Inc. of Ottawa as the company behind it.
A new software category brings its own website problem. Buyers are still learning what an "AI employee" is, people phrase the same need in many different ways, and AI assistants answer many first questions before anyone opens a website. The site has to explain the idea plainly, rank for role and industry queries, and give AI systems clean facts to quote. This case covers our work on the website and its search presence in 2025 and 2026.
What we did
The 2025 site
Screenshots from June 2025 show the first version. It presented Unistaff.ai as a cloud SaaS platform with ready-made digital employees such as a sales manager, an accountant and a marketer. The design was dark and retro-wave, with neon city scenes, a classical bust and isometric illustrations. Russian-language pages covered About, Product, Contacts and Blog. The product page explained the three-level setup of each digital employee (a language model with base skills, behaviour for the profession, adaptation to the business) and listed integrations with CRM systems, spreadsheets, messengers, email, Stripe and Slack. The footer carried the credit "Development and support MARKETING MIX".
Four languages and an SEO and AI-search rebuild, July 2026
By July 2026 the site ran on MODX Revolution in English, German, French and Russian, each language in its own URL section. On 24 July 2026 it went through an SEO and GEO rebuild. Page copy was rewritten in all four languages, and every sitemap URL was checked for a working response, a canonical tag, hreflang and JSON-LD structured data. The sitemap went to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, with 91 URLs submitted by 25 July. Google Analytics 4 was connected, and Yandex Webmaster and Metrica followed on 27 July.
Removing invented reviews
The earlier site showed testimonials from invented personas. We took them off the site in July 2026, because a new product's credibility rests on every claim being real.
Content, August 2026
In August 2026 the blog was rewritten with six articles, four guide pages were added, a pillar page on AI support assistants went live, and the sitemap was resubmitted to Google Search Console.
Where it stands today
We checked unistaff.ai on 14 September 2026. The site has since moved to a new build: a Next.js application served by Vercel, with HTTPS enforced and HSTS. The home page title reads "Hire an AI employee, ready to work today". Pricing is per digital employee: Starter at $149 a month with a 14-day free pilot, Scale at $599 a month for up to five employees, and custom Enterprise plans.
The multilingual build is gone. The /de, /fr and /ru addresses now redirect (308) to English pages, the home page carries no hreflang tags, and the 62-URL sitemap holds a single French page. The English structure has grown: product, use cases, pricing, integrations, security and an ROI calculator; five role pages; five industry pages (SaaS, agencies, e-commerce, real estate, healthcare); four comparison pages; AI receptionist pages for coffee shops, salons, dental practices and auto repair shops; four guides and 11 blog posts.
Several AI-search foundations are live. The site publishes a 13 KB llms.txt. Its robots.txt explicitly allows GPTBot, ClaudeBot, Google-Extended, CCBot, Applebot-Extended, Meta-ExternalAgent and Amazonbot. The home page carries Organization, SoftwareApplication (with the $149–599 price range), WebSite and FAQPage structured data. A press page offers a brand kit and approved descriptions at 60, 160 and 300 characters.
The site is candid about what exists. The case-studies section is labelled as modelled scenarios, "not customer reports", and the integrations page lists what runs today (daily Meta Ad Library capture, web forms feeding a database, lead notification emails) apart from what awaits credentials or sits on the roadmap. A single curl run measured 0.14 seconds to first byte, and 9 of the 10 home page images load lazily.
The 2025 Marketing MIX credit is absent from the new footer, which reads "A product of Innova Consulting Group Inc., Ottawa, Ontario, Canada". The Internet Archive first captured the domain in September 2024.
What we would add now
Bring the languages back
The German, French and Russian pages indexed in July now redirect to English, and a redirect to a home page reads to Google as a soft 404. Localised pages with hreflang would win those markets back. If the plan is English-only, each old URL should point to its closest English equivalent. See SEO services in Ottawa: technical and local SEO.
Confirm measurement
We found no Google Analytics tag in the HTML the new build serves. Analytics and conversion events need to be confirmed on the live site before any campaign starts.
Independent proof
The site handles its own AI readiness well. What it lacks is outside confirmation: customer reviews, software directory listings, press mentions and linked social profiles. AI assistants lean on independent sources when they describe a new SaaS brand, and today the modelled scenarios are the only case material.
