The brief

Everest Games is a game development studio focused on mid-budget original IP. The studio had shipped titles independently and was looking to attract both publishing partnerships and senior engineering talent. The existing site was a single landing page with three screenshots and an info@ email.

For a game studio, the website does three different jobs simultaneously: showcase work for players, present a credible partner profile for publishers, and recruit experienced developers. Each audience reads the site differently.

What we did

Three audiences, one site

Navigation segmented for the three audiences without making it feel like three sites stitched together. Players land in the games section. Publishers find an investor-grade studio profile with team, capability, and shipped-title metrics. Recruits find a careers section with real role descriptions, salary bands, and team-member quotes.

Game pages that work as press kits

Each shipped game has its own page with trailer, screenshots, key features, platform availability, and a downloadable press kit. The press kit is built as a public URL — journalists can grab everything they need (logos, screenshots, fact sheet, dev quotes) in one zip, no email request required.

Studio profile for publishing partners

An investor-style page with team composition (designers, engineers, artists, by seniority), tools and engines used, total years of shipping experience, total titles shipped, and the studio's IP focus areas. Designed to answer the first ten questions a publisher's business-development lead would ask.

Careers section with real roles

Open roles with full descriptions, salary bands in EUR (still uncommon for Ukrainian studios — a deliberate differentiator), the team they'd join, the games they'd work on, and the tools they'd use. Application flow lightweight — portfolio link, CV, two paragraphs about a favourite shipped project.

Schema markup for game and studio

VideoGame schema for each shipped title, Organization schema for the studio with employee count and founding date, JobPosting schema for each open role.

What we learned

Salary transparency in a region where it's uncommon doesn't lose you the candidates who would have negotiated higher; it gains you the candidates who would never have applied without seeing the band first. The careers section's salary disclosure was initially controversial internally and became one of the studio's most-defended brand decisions a year in.
